Jointing Clamp Bits
side jaws = clamping with pre-drilled holes
In the model year of 2001 we added the possibility to use auxiliary side jaws to our popular jointing clamps. Side jaws are supplied as special accessories and are screwed into clamp cylinder sides. During regular use, the side jaws may remain screwed into the jointing clamp. To use the side jaws, do not tighten the jointing clamp to the workpiece with sash cramp but make a hole with a diameter of ? 8 mm or bigger in each workpiece at a suitable place (on the reverse side). Insert the side jaw tips into the pre-drilled hole and clamp the pieces firmly together. Side jaws are advantageously used for small pieces (e.g. small frames) that would be difficult to clamp in the standard way.Note:
A set of 8 jaws is designed for one set (4 pieces) of clamps.
